Hijackers give up, passengers freed as jet lands in Rome

Hijackers commandeered an Iran Air jetliner carrying about 300 people bound for Saudi Arabia Wednesday in Tehran and forced the plane to fly to Rome. There, the hijackers eventually surrendered and the passengers were freed. It was the fourth international hijacking since July 29.
