South Korea accepts plan for talks with the North

South Korea said Monday it has accepted a North Korean proposal for talks on resuming long-deadlocked negotiations on reuniting an estimated 10 million Koreans separated since the Korean war. The talks will be held at the Panmunjom border village Nov. 20.
