UN renews call for pullout of Viet troops in Kampuchea

The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution that calls for the withdrawal of Vietnamese troops from Kampuchea, respect for Kampuchea's territorial integrity, and the right to self-determination, Monitor correspondent Louis Wiznitzer reports. It passed by a vote of 110 to 22, with 18 abstentions. A similar resolution was adopted last year. Vietnam did not even bother to take part in the debate.

The Thai representative, Birabhonjse Kasmsri, called for ''a process of national reconciliation to include all parties, to be undertaken by the Khmer people themselves.'
