By the Memorial Gate

Sitting, I am waiting for the trees to speak their silver word, but the moon is late. The insects are in the grass breathing for us, for the world, for the stars. Then, from the heart of the forest, the rippling of leaves is approaching and the whole bright gift of life has come.
