US says seven steel nations have agreed to limit exports

The White House said Wednesday agreements had been reached with seven steel-producing nations for cutting their exports to the United States by about 30 percent next year. That should reduce the import share of the US finished steel market to about 18.5 percent from roughly 25 percent this year.
