This is a stuttering day of rain: black-coated foragers wrestle the storm, seeking the home-bound bus or train. Heads down, stumbling, or slowed to a creep in a maze of puddles, how glad they will be for a warm bath, bed, and an undisturbed sleep, released from the ungraceful movements of day.
