FRIDAY Leo & Liz in Beverly Hills (CBS, 8:30-9 p.m.): Premi`ere of new sitcom with Harvey Korman and Valerie Perrine as a self-made couple struggling to fit in among Beverly Hills opulence. SATURDAY

American Film Institute Tribute to Billy Wilder (NBC, 9:30-11 p.m.): Scenes from movies and tributes to one of Hollywood's legendary directors.

A Prairie Home Companion (PBS, 9-11 p.m.): Humorist Garrison Keillor, host and creator of the American Public Radio program, brings his whimsy to television in a special featuring the favorite elements of the radio show. SUNDAY

Robin Hood (ABC, 7-9 p.m.): ``The Disney Sunday Movie'' presents the 1973 animated classic.

Masked Monkeys (PBS, 8-9 p.m.): ``Nature'' examines African forest primates from Kibale, Uganda.

Forever Wild (PBS, 10-11 p.m.): Centennial celebration of the New York State Forest Preserve, narrated by Richard Kiley.

Resting Place (CBS, 9-11 p.m.): John Lithgow stars as an officer assigned to bury a black Vietnam veteran in a white-only cemetery. MONDAY

Texas 150: A Celebration (ABC, 9-11 p.m.): A salute to the Lone Star State by such performers as Gene Autry, Johnny Cash, Mack Davis, and Ginger Rogers. Lots more, too.

Elephant Games (PBS, 10:30-11 p.m.): One of the most spectacular sporting events in the world: a rodeo for domesticated elephants in northeast Thailand. TUESDAY

A New York Philharmonic Celebration with Zubin Mehta (PBS, 8-10 p.m.): ``Live From Lincoln Center'' presents a gala concert featuring Montserrat Caball'e, Isaac Stern, and Itzhak Perlman.

Trade War: A Short Course on the Tokyo Summit (PBS, 10-11 p.m.): A beginner's guide to the May 5 economic summit's major topics -- international trade and protectionism. WEDNESDAY

West 57th (CBS, 8-9 p.m.): Return of CBS News's disco-beat magazine show with stories from Bolivia and Indianapolis, among others.

Cathedral (PBS, 8-9 p.m.): Based on the David Macauley book, this live action/animated family show tells the story of cathedrals and the life and culture surrounding them. THURSDAY

Bridges to Cross (CBS, 9-10 p.m.): Premi`ere of new series starring Suzanne Pleshette and Nicolas Surovy as rival reporters.

Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime (PBS, 9-10 p.m.): ``The Ambassador's Boot'' is premi`ere of five-part series featuring a 1920s husband-and-wife detective team. Check local listings for all PBS programs since local stations' option often results in differing schedules.
