AMERICAN WOMEN ARTISTS from 1830 to 1930 will be the focus of a 110-item exhibition opening next April 10 at Washington's National Museum of Women. After a June 14 closing, it will travel to Minneapolis, San Diego, Dallas, and Hartford, Ct. STOPPING `COLORIZATION' OF OLD B&W FILMS is the object of a suit filed by RKO Pictures against Color Systems Technology. RKO charged the firm was involved in unauthorized computer coloring of 10 films under RKO copyrights. EDWARD WESTON PHOTOGRAPHS go on view Friday in a major exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. This centennial tribute to the American photographer includes examples of his early landscapes, platinum prints, works from Mexico, later landscapes, figure studies, and still lifes. EUG`ENE ATGET PHOTOGRAPHS will be seen in Washington in an exhibition opening Saturday at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Atget's depictions of commerce, the working class, and everyday amusements form an interesting mosaic of Parisian society at the turn of the century. CANADA'S SHAW FESTIVAL will tour North America for the first time next year, with stops in Ottawa, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Detroit, and possibly Seattle, San Francisco, and Cleveland. It will present a new version of its 1985 production of Ray Cooney and Tony Hilton's ``One for the Pot.''
