In the nation's Capitol

(visiting May 1987) One might like to think that in Statuary Hall and the Rotunda when the crowds are gone the statues begin to move just a little - and to talk. Favorite sons and daughters of the states exclaiming in whispers over what has happened that they never expected would, wondering, if they had been running things, the past two hundred years, would it have been different (or the same).
