The World is Round

It is a round world we live in, rounded with doorknobs & dimes, clocks, computer chips & CDs, smoothed off by traffic to a dull finish. Round with wheels, dinner plates, typewriter ribbons and coins coming out of our ears, round with eyes, teardrops, open mouths, balloons at parties, cameras shooting all this, and round people running in circles.
