WORKERS WOULD PUT FAMILY FIRST

Eight of 10 workers in a nationwide survey said they would sacrifice rapid career advancement to have more time with their families, the National Association of Manufacturers says. NAM also noted that the ``baby bust'' of the late 1960s and '70s is turning into the ``new worker bust'' of the 1990s.
