STORE BRANDS GAIN FAVOR WITH SOME SHOPPERS

Store brands are becoming accepted in many United States households, according to a new poll by the Gallup Organization commissioned by the Private Label Manufacturing Association. Nine out of 10 respondents in the poll said they have purchased store brands.

One of every 3 consumers polled is buying more store brands than a year ago and 20 percent intend to buy even more next year.
