NORTH KOREA ATTACKS US FOR POSTPONING TROOP CUT

North Korea sharply criticized the United States yesterday for delaying a planned troop cut from South Korea because of suspicions that Pyongyang was developing nuclear weapons.Pyongyang's official newspaper Rodong Sinmun also condemned last week's US-South Korean annual security talks in Seoul, saying they hatched a "sinister plot" against North Korea. "This cannot but be viewed as a belligerent, rash act making us feel deep apprehensions for the future of North-South dialogue," said Rodong Sinmun, quoted by the Korean Central News Agency, monitored in Tokyo.
