200 YEARS OF BISCUITS

In the past two months, Nabisco Biscuit Company has been celebrating its bicentennial by producing 25 million commemorative packages of three of its brands: Oreo cookies, Premium Saltines, and Honey Maid Grahams. Each collectible series is reminiscent of packages from the early 20th century.

A small bakery, founded in 1792 in Newburyport, Mass., to make hardtack for sailors, eventually joined other bakers to become the National Biscuit Company.
