Innocence in the White House

Regarding the front-page article "Clinton Retools the White House in Bid to Focus Political Message," May 10: Consultant Ted Van Dyck's statement, "You cannot overestimate the degree of innocence and inexperience in the White House, including the president himself," is very encouraging. If the voters had wanted the wordly attitude of the past, they would have voted for it. Hurray for inexperience in ways that have not seemed to work.
