Good Morning America: Evening Edition (ABC, 10-11 p.m., E.T.): If you can get by the anomalous title - which strains to retain the best of two worlds - you may want to hear what the guests have to say in this prime-time edition. They are Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, giving their first joint TV interview since the inauguration. Interviewed by cohost Joan Lunden, they'll discuss - among other things - their recent move from Arlington, Va., to the vice president's residence at the Naval Obse rvatory in Washington (in front of which this interview was taped). The impact on their lives of his transition from senator to vice president will be another topic.

Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra (The Disney Channel, 7:30-8:30 p.m.): Its host is Dudley Moore. It offers Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Gershwin, and others. But the notable thing about the concert featured on this show is the age of the musicians: 12 and under. Selected from across the country and representing diverse backgrounds, they came for a 10-day summer music camp in July where they studied and rehearsed under Henry Mancini, Branford Marsalis, and other noted musical figures.

As symphony concerts go, the program is on the light side, with lively entries like Bernstein's "Candide" overture and "Pennywhistle Jig," composed by Mancini (who also conducts this number) and featuring soloist Gregory Jefferson on flute.

Moore is the piano soloist for Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," and several other numbers are offered, but the production also includes profiles of some of the young players, scenes from Disney's animated "Beauty and the Beast," and - in a Disno-centric excess - a piece written by Dalit Warshaw when she was eight called "My Trip to Disneyland."
