Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

The photo caption accompanying a Nov. 19 article on an Kansas-basedagricultural research center misidentified the subject. Pictured is Marty Bender, who heads a grain farm project that is part of the research center. In a Dec. 8 article about a book of National Geographic photographs, the book publisher was misidentified. The correct publisher is the National Geographic Society.
