Here's a nice little fact about the name ''squirrel'': It is made up of two Greek words -- ''skia'' and ''oura.'' Skia means ''shadow.'' Oura means ''tail.'' So you could call a squirrel ''shadow-tail.'' After all, his tail -- which is like a bushy question mark -- follows him around very closely, like a shadow.
