WORTH NOTING ON TV

* SATURDAY

Comic Relief VII (HBO, 9 p.m.-2 a.m.): Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, and Robin Williams host this all-star comedy benefit for America's homeless. Among the celebrities scheduled to appear: Drew Carey, Andrew Clay, David Letterman, Heather Locklear, Shelley Long, Dennis Miller, David Hyde Pierce, Queen Latifah, and Bob Saget. Also planned is a reunion of cast members from ''The Steve Allen Show.''

The program is available to all cable subscribers in participating cable systems.

* MONDAY

Nuremberg Trials (Court TV, 5-8 p.m.): Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Nuremberg trials, this week Court TV airs original footage from the German courtroom where Nazi leaders were tried for World War II crimes. In addition to film, audio tape, and still photos, the program features live commentary from the network's anchors and guest experts on international law.

The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends (Family, 6-6:30 p.m.): The Family Channel celebrates National Children's Book Week with adaptations of children's literature. Beginning the week is a special episode of the Peter Rabbit series: the premiere of Beatrix Potter's ''The Tale of Flopsy Bunnies and Mrs. Tittlemouse.'' Following at 6:30 p.m. is the CableACE Award-winning ''The Tale of Tom Kitten and Jemima Puddle-Duck.''

In the Wild (PBS, 8-9 p.m.): A spinoff of ''Nature,'' this new series tracks celebrities on wildlife adventures in exotic locales. The entertaining Robin Williams takes the plunge first, making underwater friends with playful dolphins.

* TUESDAY

Fields of Fire: Sports in the '60s (HBO, 10-11 p.m.): This documentary looks at how the turbulence of the '60s made its way onto playing fields and into sports arenas - from reaction to the Vietnam War, to tensions that mounted as women and black athletes asserted their rights. Basketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and tennis great Billie Jean King are among those interviewed.
