Connecting families

There's a new way for family members who are scattered about the globe to stay in touch with what's going on in each other's lives. At a free, password-protected Web site available at MyFamily.com (www.myfamily.com), parents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles can now share pictures, audio recordings, and digital movies with each other.

When the family's newest grandchild takes her first step, her proud parents can put the video online for all to see. Or a child away at camp can post "news" for the entire clan to read and respond to.

The site also includes instant messaging and private chat as well as a customized calendar that can track dates and events for the whole family and send e-mail reminders to everyone.
