CDs are going to the dogs

If you can listen to music in your home, why can't your pets? Saxophonist Joe Procopio answers this question with his new creation, "Pethoven." Music designed especially for pets, but easy on human ears, Pethoven CDs and cassettes will get your pets grooving.

Melodies are recorded twice - once at a normal level for humans and another at a much higher frequency for pets.

The combination is fast becoming popular. One woman uses Pethoven to calm her cats while they're in the car, and another CD owner has seen a decrease in damage to his apartment by his collie.

"It doesn't work magic on every animal every time," admits Mr. Procopio. But it has gotten much positive response from pet owners who've tried it.
