More than four months after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, related discoveries are still surfacing. Example: Did you know that the name bin Laden is trademarked? At least, that is, when it's spelled "Binladin." It was registered last February in Switzerland by one of the Saudi fugitive's 53 siblings, Yeslam Binladin, who had hoped to market his own line of midprice fashions. He says it would be "insensitive" to use the name for commercial purposes now, but the trademark ensures that it also can't be exploited "for negative ends."

Are tourists flocking back to New York? Not yet, it seems

Just how much of an impact did the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11 have on New York's tourism business? Enough, according to QIXO, a leading Internet travel-search and booking site, to drop the Big Apple out of the US's top 10 among destination cities for the fourth quarter of last year. That, despite ranking No. 2 in the year's third quarter, behind only Las Vegas, and despite offering special new promotional packages to lure travelers. New York was third in the April-June quarter and second in the opening quarter. QIXO's top 10 destination cities for the fourth quarter of 2001:
