Correction

In the "Votes for Women!" game presented in the March 26 Kidspace (pages 18-19), we did not give Wyoming its full due. The Wyoming Territory led the nation with its 1869 law giving women the vote. Wyoming became the first state allowing women to vote when it entered the Union in 1890 with its suffrage provision intact. In 1893, Colorado became the first state to adopt an amendment giving women the vote.
