No matter how the sun comes up

I would see it eventually –
red, or clouded, or misted,
no matter how the sun comes up.
But early, in time to plan the day,
it is a mystery to my eyes unless
I take the time
to exit this interior,
to walk out
and see the sun
edge over the neighbor's tiled roof.
