Timothy D. May lives in Western Massachusetts with his wife and two energetic young daughters (one in Kindergarten and one in third grade.) He is a journalist who has worked for the Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times, and other newspapers. For the past three years he has worked as a human rights advocate and communications consultant in South Sudan; he also has worked in Pakistan, Armenia and the Republic of Georgia. He enjoys hiking the Berkshire mountainsides with his girls in search of berries, animal tracks and moose antlers.
