The 10 best Black Friday deals so far
We're just seven days into November, but we're already starting to get a sense of what to expect this season thanks to early ad drops from Kohl's, JCPenney, Dell, Staples and others. Here's ten of the best Black Friday deals we've seen so far. The best part? All of them will be available to buy online.

This laptop is small – just a 11.6" display with a scant 2GB of memory and tiny 32GB hard drive. You won't be rocking any online mass multis with it, but if you have no idea what I just said then you probably don't need to. It's pretty much perfect if all you're looking for is a machine that can check email. This is one of Dell's hourly Black Friday doorbusters, so you'll need to be online at 6pm ET on Thursday 11/24 to get it.

Not only are they knocking 50% off the regular price of a very nicely equipped name brand TV, it comes with a $150 Dell gift card. We've seen this bundle as low as $349 after mail-in rebate recently, so at first glance maybe $449.99 doesn't look so great. To be honest, we expect $39.99 to be the de facto Black Friday price for the popular Echo Dot, but Staples is the first to list it in its ad. Look for it to be the same price everywhere on Black Friday.

Ahh yes, our favorite recurring deal! Truthfully, any of the KitchenAid stand mixers you can get at Kohl's during Black Friday week are excellent, but I'll do the math for the entry-level Classic model. It will ring up as $229.99 at the register, and it's very likely you'll be able to apply a coupon to take an additional 15% off, so you'll pay $195.49 to take it home. You'll get $30 back from the mail-in rebate for a final total of $165.49, plus you'll earn $45 in Kohl's Cash to sweeten the deal even further.

If you've ever priced out cast-iron cookware, you know it's often cost-prohibitive to buy new. Normally, even a small 12-inch skillet runs $30. On Black Friday it will be just $9.99, and the 15% off coupon we expect to see will reduce it to $8.49.

So far, we like the $99.99 Fitbit Alta from Kohl's. It's not eligible for coupon discounts, but it earns $30 Kohl's Cash, making it the best value among the Black Friday Fitbit deals that we've seen so far.

Whoever came up with the idea of combining Barbie and puppies was clearly a genius, but it's hard to stomach the idea of paying full price for this set. Thankfully, it will be slashed to $69.99 for Black Friday, the predicted 15% off coupon brings it down to $59.49, and it earns $15 in Kohl's Cash. And suddenly I can actually justify buying it for my nieces.
