Kohl's will have its usual deal on KitchenAid stand mixers this Black Friday.

We're just seven days into November, but we're already starting to get a sense of what to expect this season thanks to early ad drops from Kohl's, JCPenney, Dell, Staples and others. Here's ten of the best Black Friday deals we've seen so far. The best part? All of them will be available to buy online.

When we've seen everything – including WalmartBest BuyTarget, and Amazon – we'll publish our annual list of the top Black Friday deals. Until then, you can check out the ads we've already got in our 2016 Black Friday Guide.

Dell Inspiron 11 3000 Laptop with 2GB memory, 32GB storage, 11.6" display

Where: Dell Black Friday Ad, page 2
Regular Price: $199.99
Black Friday Price: $99.99

This laptop is small – just a 11.6" display with a scant 2GB of memory and tiny 32GB hard drive. You won't be rocking any online mass multis with it, but if you have no idea what I just said then you probably don't need to. It's pretty much perfect if all you're looking for is a machine that can check email. This is one of Dell's hourly Black Friday doorbusters, so you'll need to be online at 6pm ET on Thursday 11/24 to get it.

Samsung 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV

Where: Dell Black Friday Ad, page 3
Regular Price: $1,199.99
Black Friday Price: $599.99
Bonus: $150 Gift Card

Dell also delivers on the TV doorbusters with this 55" Samsung 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. Not only are they knocking 50% off the regular price of a very nicely equipped name brand TV, it comes with a $150 Dell gift card. If you want it, you'll need to be ready to jump on it at 6pm ET on Thursday 11/24 at Dell.com.

Canon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR with WiFi, bag and 2 lenses

See It: Kohl's Black Friday Ad, page 3
Regular Price: $749.99
Black Friday Price: $449.99
Bonus: $135 Kohl's Cash

We've seen this bundle as low as $349 after mail-in rebate recently, so at first glance maybe $449.99 doesn't look so great. But add in the $135 Kohl's Cash that it earns and the total value of the Black Friday deal at Kohl's easily beats those other deals. Note: this Canon DSLR kit is excluded from coupons.

Amazon Echo Dot

Where: Staples Black Friday Ad, page 2
Regular Price: $49.99
Black Friday Price: $39.99

To be honest, we expect $39.99 to be the de facto Black Friday price for the popular Echo Dot, but Staples is the first to list it in its ad. Look for it to be the same price everywhere on Black Friday.

KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer

See It: Kohl's Black Friday Ad, page 20
Regular Price: $229.99
Black Friday Price: $199.99 ($165.49 after coupon and $30 rebate)
Bonus: $45 Kohl's Cash

Ahh yes, our favorite recurring deal! Truthfully, any of the KitchenAid stand mixers you can get at Kohl's during Black Friday week are excellent, but I'll do the math for the entry-level Classic model. It will ring up as $229.99 at the register, and it's very likely you'll be able to apply a coupon to take an additional 15% off, so you'll pay $195.49 to take it home. You'll get $30 back from the mail-in rebate for a final total of $165.49, plus you'll earn $45 in Kohl's Cash to sweeten the deal even further.

Anchor Hocking 24-pc Storage Set

Where: JCPenney Black Friday Ad, page 2
Regular Price: $56
Black Friday Price: $10

We're accustomed to seeing cheap 18-piece Pyrex sets run $17+ at Black Friday, so seeing an equally durable 24-piece set from Anchor Hocking for $7 less is pretty noteworthy.

Food Network 12-in. Cast Iron Skillet

See it: Kohl's Black Friday Ad, page 22
Regular Price: $29.99
Black Friday Price: $9.99 ($8.49 after coupon)

If you've ever priced out cast-iron cookware, you know it's often cost-prohibitive to buy new. Normally, even a small 12-inch skillet runs $30. On Black Friday it will be just $9.99, and the 15% off coupon we expect to see will reduce it to $8.49.

Fitbit Alta

Where: Kohl's Black Friday Ad, page 1
Regular Price: $129.99-$149.99
Black Friday Price: $99.99
Bonus: $30 Kohl's Cash

So far, we like the $99.99 Fitbit Alta from Kohl's. It's not eligible for coupon discounts, but it earns $30 Kohl's Cash, making it the best value among the Black Friday Fitbit deals that we've seen so far.

Juniors' Leggings

Where: JCPenney Black Friday Ad, page 62
Regular Price: $20
Black Friday Price: $5

Five. Dollar. Leggings. Do we really need to explain this one?

Barbie Puppy Mobile

Where: Kohl's Black Friday Ad, page 15
Regular Price: $139.99
Black Friday Price: $69.99 ($59.49 after coupon)
Bonus: $15 Kohl's Cash

Whoever came up with the idea of combining Barbie and puppies was clearly a genius, but it's hard to stomach the idea of paying full price for this set. Thankfully, it will be slashed to $69.99 for Black Friday, the predicted 15% off coupon brings it down to $59.49, and it earns $15 in Kohl's Cash. And suddenly I can actually justify buying it for my nieces.

What is the Monitor difference? Tackling the tough headlines – with humanity. Listening to sources – with respect. Seeing the story that others are missing by reporting what so often gets overlooked: the values that connect us. That’s Monitor reporting – news that changes how you see the world.

Dear Reader,

About a year ago, I happened upon this statement about the Monitor in the Harvard Business Review – under the charming heading of “do things that don’t interest you”:

“Many things that end up” being meaningful, writes social scientist Joseph Grenny, “have come from conference workshops, articles, or online videos that began as a chore and ended with an insight. My work in Kenya, for example, was heavily influenced by a Christian Science Monitor article I had forced myself to read 10 years earlier. Sometimes, we call things ‘boring’ simply because they lie outside the box we are currently in.”

If you were to come up with a punchline to a joke about the Monitor, that would probably be it. We’re seen as being global, fair, insightful, and perhaps a bit too earnest. We’re the bran muffin of journalism.

But you know what? We change lives. And I’m going to argue that we change lives precisely because we force open that too-small box that most human beings think they live in.

The Monitor is a peculiar little publication that’s hard for the world to figure out. We’re run by a church, but we’re not only for church members and we’re not about converting people. We’re known as being fair even as the world becomes as polarized as at any time since the newspaper’s founding in 1908.

We have a mission beyond circulation, we want to bridge divides. We’re about kicking down the door of thought everywhere and saying, “You are bigger and more capable than you realize. And we can prove it.”

If you’re looking for bran muffin journalism, you can subscribe to the Monitor for $15. You’ll get the Monitor Weekly magazine, the Monitor Daily email, and unlimited access to CSMonitor.com.
