Obama's fourth trip to the Gulf Coast since the BP oil spill: What more can a president do?

On June 14 and 15, President Obama will make his fourth visit to the Gulf Coast since the BP oil spill. He will travel to Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

What more can he do? Do the coastal states need presidential advice? Can he help in securing a solution to the oil leak? Can he use this visit to better coordinate the federal response?

Or is this merely an attempt to avoid political fallout over the spill?
