'Jerry' Brown Jr., was inaugurated to his second term in Sacramento, Calif. Jerry Brown has held the office twice – from 1975-83 and again starting in 2011. On Oct. 7, 2013, Brown became California's longest-serving governor, surpassing Earl Warren's 10-year tenure.
