Jackie Chan prepares to jump and slide several stories down a pole wrapped in lights in a mall. The stunt was done for the 1985 film ‘Police Story.' Initially Chan was very afraid of performing it, and in the end his fears were justified; his hands were severely burned and he broke a bone in his hip.
