Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng arrive at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood, Calif., on Feb. 28. Ms. Deng moved to Hong Kong in 1996 to do an internship at a subsidiary of Mr. Murdoch's News Corp, Star TV. She met Murdoch at a staff party in 1998. They married a year later, and have two children.
