An emperor penguin chick, born in September, is seen at SeaWorld San Diego on Wednesday. The chick weighs nearly two pounds, stands seven inches high, and is being reared at SeaWorld's Penguin Encounter. It's the 21st successful hatching of an emperor penguin at SeaWorld San Diego, the only place in North America to house and successfully breed the species, according to park officials.
