Gordon Brown, former British Prime Minister and UN Special Envoy for Global Education, attends the event 'Stand up for Malala, Girls' education is a right!' during the United Nations Human Rights Day at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. A special tribute was paid to Malala Yousafazi, the teenage Pakistani schoolgirl shot by the Taliban after advocating education for girls, at the British hospital where she is being treated.
