Perhaps the pockets and purses carrying our smartphones aren't the most fragrant of places, but do we want our smartphones smelling like our favorite flavor of jelly bean? Jelly Belly thinks so.

In case you need to smell something sweet every time you answer the phone, Jelly Belly has teamed up with ESI Cases and Accessories to make smartphone cases that give off the scent of Jelly Belly beans.

Jelly Belly fans can choose from Strawberry Cheesecake, Very Cherry, Blueberry, Licorice and Berry Blue scents.

To the chagrin of uber-fans (in other words, those who would even know, offhand, what the difference between Blueberry and Berry Blue is), the cases will not be edible. There are versions for the iPhone 4, iPod Touch, iPod Nano and select BlackBerry phones.

It seems that ESI couldn't resist adding some earbuds to the line of Jelly Belly products, and for good reason. That's right, these in-ear headphones are shaped like Jelly Belly beans. They aren't scented, but they do match the five colors of the scented cases.

“These jelly bean-shaped headphones are ideal for any consumers that want to make a fun impression with their friends and as they walk down the street,” said Elliot Azoulay, president and CEO of ESI Cases and Accessories, in a statement.

Just don't wear them while actually eating Jelly Belly beans. The inevitable mix-up will cost you $14.99 (and possibly your dignity), as that's how much the earbuds and cases cost.
