Facebook, er, book arrives in July

About these ads

The untold story of the founding of Facebook is finding its way onto the pages of a book by Ben Mezrich later this summer.

"The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook" catches up with Facebook founders Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin as Harvard undergrads, and follows the story of the social networking site's meteoric rise – along with their personal falling-out.

Mezrich had readers tearing through pages of his bestselling 2002 book, "Bringing Down the House," which followed the MIT blackjack team on its card counting exploits through Las Vegas, and was later made into the movie "21." The Boston-based author and Harvard grad has carved out a niche for himself in books for men, writing about Vegas, high-stakes finance, and the world oil market, all with liberal doses of sex and intrigue. True to form, his latest is subtitled "A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal."
