Kanye interrupts Obama, and the swift glory of YouTube

Ah, YouTube, the world's great meme melting pot. Where else could Joe Wilson, Barack Obama, Kayne West, and Taylor Swift merge into 13 seconds of pop culture meta mash up glory?

A lightning-quick YouTube user mixed up this spoof of Obama's "You Lie" moment and the Kayne West MTV outburst last night.

West later apologized on his blog for interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech during the 2009 VMAs. He wrote, "I'M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM." However, the apology is seemingly no longer on his blog, and only exists as a buried post.

We would embed a clip of the Kayne outburst, but MTV has ordered YouTube to take down any such videos. MTV's parent company, Viacom, wants people to see the clips on its sites. Here's a link to the video.

As for Rep. Joe Wilson, he apologized to Obama for yelling "You Lie" during the president's health care speech, but insists that he will not say he's sorry to Congress.
