Starting this Monday, the Senate welcomes 16 fresh faces to the Capitol’s marbled halls.
Republican Rep. John Boozman defeated Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D) in Arkansas. Mr. Boozman had previously served as a congressman for Arkansas’ Third Congressional District since 2001. He is endorsed by the National Right to Life, National Rifle Association, and the Arkansas Tea Party.
This seat was one of six Republican pickups in the Senate.
