A report on Yahoo!Sports.com says former Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush will be stripped of the award by the end of this month.

The current New Orleans Saints running back would be the first person in the Heisman's 75-year history to have the award taken away. The online report also says the 2005 award would remain vacant.

Back in June, the NCAA found numerous infractions on the part of the USC football program and hit the Trojans with heavy penalties, including a two-year bowl game ban. Bush was found to have received improper benefits, dating back to USC's 2004 national championship.

The executive director of the Heisman Trophy Trust told the Associated Press Tuesday that no decision has been reached in regards to Bush.

The president of the Heisman Trophy trust, William J. Dockery, reiterated that the reports were inaccurate.

Yahoo Sports cited a pair of unnamed sources close to the Trust as the basis of their report.
