This is the moment baseball fans have been waiting for, when the Hall of Fame announces whether two of the greatest players in the game’s history – Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens – will be ushered in during their first year of eligibility or some time in the foreseeable future. Whether voters will give them and other candidates (notably Sammy Sosa) the benefit of the doubt or a cold shoulder, as they have to admitted steroid-using slugger Mark McGwire in recent years, will be signaled by the 2013 results.
