'House That Ruth Built' soon to be place of memories only

The New York Yankees are playing their 85th and final season in Yankee Stadium, the site of Tuesday's baseball All-Star Game. An all-new Yankee Stadium opens next year in the Bronx adjacent to the current stadium, which opened in 1923. The field dimensions will be the same, but the new facility will have more luxury boxes, as well as bigger seats and more legroom. The main attraction, of course, remains the pinstripers, whose baseball exploits have provided so many memories. Some of the highlights of the Yankees' tenure at the corner of 161st St. and River Avenue:
