Revolutionary official in key Iranian city killed

The head of the Islamic Revolutionary Committees in the central Iranian city of Isfahan was assassinated in a hail of gunfire early Sunday, the official Pars News Agency reported. The killing of Amir Abbas Bahreinian, an engineer, followed several weeks of unrest in Isfahan over the committees.
