Australia to study effects of defoliant on veterans

The Asutralian government is to investigate whether an American defoliant used in Vietnam caused deformities in the children of Australian veterans of the war, it was announced officially Monday. Veterans Affairs Minister Evan Adermann said the study would try to establish whether the herbicide Agent Orange had affected Australian soldiers who served in Vietnam or their children.
