Royal tribute

All octogenarians entitled to a rousing cheer. But when the octogenarian is Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother this calls for a special tribute as well. Dr. Robert Runcie, Archbishop of Canterbury, echoed the feelings of millions not only in Britain but throughout the world when he praised her "warmth, resilience , courage, and love" at a national thanksgiving service in London's St. Paul's Cathedral.

To which we would only add that the "Queen Mum's" naturalness and nobility continue to stand as a model of true womanhood. No public figure we can think of more deserves a national celebration.
