There could be as many as 250 women in the Congress by the turn of the century, says sociologist Robert Skrabanek. HE says the power of women is determined, in part, by their prominence but also by their proportionate share of the population. The margin by which women of voting age outnumber men is 7 million now, he says, and may be 9 million by 2000.
