"Cornerstones" is an appropriate name for a political magazine recently launched by Jerry Brown -- commonly held to be laying the foundations for a bid at national office.

The magazine, which had a first edition run of 50,000 copies, is aimed at keeping in touch with Brown supporters around the country. Word is that Brown's politicos have already moved to draft East Coast operatives to anchor a national Brown network.
