Inquiry stymied on killing of UN soldiers in Lebanon

An official investigation int the killing of three Senegalese UN soldiers Monday in South Lebanon has run up against a "wall of silence," a UN spokesman said. "This is one of the most serious incident since UNIFIL [UN Interim Forces in Lebanon] entered from the area in May 1979," he added. The incident climaxed a week of clashes between the Palestine Lib eration Organization and UNIFIL.
