Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

A Vietnamese squad slipped across the tense Thai-Cambodian border, attacking two Thai frontier listening posts. It was the second reported Vietnamese incursion into Thai territory this month. Backed by Soviet- built tanks and heavy artillery, the Vietnamese are slowly trying to clear the frontier of an estimated 30,000 Khmer Rouge troops and of another 5,000 anticommunist Cambodian troops led by former Premier Son Sann.
