Corals taken from a Florida beach
Only a stone's throw from tall glittering glass condominium apartment houses the primary wave ceaselessly responding to the primordial moon-surge brings up from the sea's depth bony bits of beauty and scatters them indifferently mingled with common pebbles along the beach sands. One a fist shaped mound pave with carved rosettes. One a ribbon of frozen feathers. Others of an intricacy
defying simple simile. All are beautiful. All are of such ancient lineage that the hundreds of milions of years it is reckoned that these primeval architects have been constructing (out of themselves) their alabaster mini-cities shows man a parvenu. I look at these bleached/broken ruins in my hands. I see worlds/eons overlapping and a creation that was never less than subl ime!
