Colombia frees journalist who interviewed guerrillas

Lawrence Johnson, an American journalist who spent 17 days in military and civilian prisons in Bogota, Colombia, for interviewing leftist guerrillas, was expelled from the country Saturday. Mr. Johnson, who arrived here on a flight from Bogota, said he was severely beaten and tortured by Army interrogators before being expelled.
