US seeks to delay a curb on meshing Atlantic fares

The International Air Transport Association welcomed a bid by President Reagan to delay a US court order that would have banned US airlines from coordinating their fares on busy transatlantic routes. Mr. Reagan asked the US Civil Aeronautics Board not to apply a court order aimed at applying antitrust laws to American airlines if they continued to align transatlantic fares with competitors.
