Superstars' a misnomer?

When TV's ''Superstars'' competition first appeared, the shows generally brought together well-known athletes. But viewers who tuned in last Sunday's men's preliminary may have asked themselves, ''Who are these guys, anyhow?'' Included in the field were Marvis Frazier, Dino Ciccarelli, Bob Nystrom, Mike Mentzer, and Lou Ferrigno, hardly household names, much less what most people would call ''superstars.'' Frazier, the son of Joe Frazier, is a boxer; Ciccarelli and Nystrom, hockey players; Mentzer, a weightlifter; and Ferrigno, an actor on television's ''The Incredible Hulk.''
